The City Palace

Hawa Mahal

Built for the royal women to peep out and view the outside day-to-day lives without being seen from outside, this palace stands at 5 storeys high shaped and designed like a honeycomb. The multiple outlets in its small windows also provide great ventilation and air circulation through the whole palace.

 

The Birla temple

Also known as the Lakshmi Narayan temple, this white marble temple is found in the heart of the city sitting on top of a small hill. You can drive up to the temple where ample space is reserved for the parking of visitors.

 

Jal Mahal

Sitting in the middle of the Mansarovar lake, this is one of the top tourist places in Jaipur. This palace provides a breathtaking where half of its structure is submerged inside the lake. You can take a boat ride from the land to the palace to see this beautiful piece of art close-up.

Amber Fort

This will be the last place of your sightseeing tour in Jaipur. Set about 11 km away from the main city, this massive palace is nothing short of greatness. You can make your way up to the fort by riding the back of an elephant by paying INR 900, which is the fixed rate by the Government. The palace is built in a blend of Muslim-Hindu style of architecture.
